How to lose weight fast and healthy

Tags: , ,

If you plan on losing weight, that’s easy, a few tweaks to your diet and you will consistently and steadily lose weight. But for a lot of people that’s not enough, they want to lose weight as fast as possible. I will tell you how to do that in a healthy way. Don’t fall for pills or extremely radical diets (some of which even need to be monitored by a doctor – shouldn’t this be concerning enough?)

Of course, if you want to lose weight fast it is important to keep a strict diet, but don’t be afraid, you can eat whenever you want to, you just need to be careful with your selection of food. Roughly you could say: Eat as much protein as you want to, try to add as many vitamins to your diet as possible, avoid carbs, don’t be afraid of fat, but also try to balance it with the rest of your diet.

Proteins are the most important part of your diet. They are absolutely essential and the largest component of your body. When active most of the energy in your muscles comes from protein. Also they are used for regeneration, or “renewal” of your body. Extremely high amounts of protein can lead to diarrhea, but that is very unlikely if you eat natural food. And even with protein powder you would have to intake vast amounts.

Vitamins are essential for your metabolism. Lacking vitamins for a longer period of time can lead to serious medical conditions and can result in almost any disease. Continuous intake can help reduce the likelihood of most diseases on the other hand (even cancer). If you do not want to eat vegetables, take vitamin pills, but be sure that you get enough vitamins.

Carbs, or carbohydrates are the main part of most people’s diets nowadays and that is the problem. I will not get into chemistry with you, so I will try to explain my dislike for carbs through other means. Humans are not made to eat carbs, we were hunters and gatherers for millions of years, and we had next to no carbs in our diets but we were just fine. People back then had to be amazingly fit, and they were, without carbs. Not to forget that modern science has proven that carbs are everything but necessary and they even affect you negatively in various ways. Ever wondered why you are tired and still hungry after eating pasta? Forget carbs! (As long as you eat less than 50g of carbs a day you will be fine, but keep in mind, the less carbs you eat, the faster you will lose weight.)

Fat is a difficult topic, because scientists do not agree on the role that fat plays in your diet, in fact they do even disagree violently. I can say one thing. Fat does not make you fat if you do not combine it with carbs (I will elaborate this in an article in the future). There are lots of people who claim that it raises your cholesterol, however, and that may surprise you, there is no conclusive evidence for that. There is however evidence that suggests that excessive intake of carbs will raise your cholesterol. Try to balance it with the rest of your diet and be aware that fat should not be it’s main part, and you will be fine.

You will need some discipline to follow that diet and for the first week or so it might even be rather difficult, but I can guarantee you that it will get easier from day to day as your body will stop craving for carbs (after all this is like a cold turkey withdrawal treatment). And, if you want to lose weight as fast as possible, discipline is what you need. And by that i do not mean that you need to bear the feeling of being close to starvation. But i do mean that you should be able to eat meat, fruit and vegetables instead of bread, pasta and sweets.

If you read my entry again and think it through you will realize that this is exactly the diet that humans have been eating for millions of years (with the exception of the last couple of thousand years, when man started farming). It is the diet that man is made for and has adapted to (evolution does not work very fast). With it your body does not create useless fat reserves. Plus, you will end up stronger, healthier and have more energy for your everyday life tasks. Give it a try, go for it!

If you are not sure which kinds of food consist of what i can recommend this Website.

Bauerfeind Braces

Tags: , , , , , ,

Nowadays people often suffer joint injuries due to bad shoes, sports or one sided strain. Bauerfeind Braces can help you make them less painful or even prevent then.

In my last Blog Entry about running shoes, i have mentioned, that wearing the wrong shoes, specifically shoes with ecessive cushioning or high heels can, and most likely will in the long run result in pain or injuries of ankles or your knees. Those shoes will lead to degenerated muscles in your legs (more correct ankles or knees) and make you more prone to injury.
While, you should wear proper shoes to prevent such injuries in the long run, the company Bauerfeind offers great braces to help making those injuries less painful. They do the job that your, now degenerated or strained, muslces should normally do. They support your joints and give you the ability to do sports, even though you are injured, or to overcome your daily routine without experiencing pain.
From my past as a runner who was using improper shoes i can tell you that i had various injuries. Ankle, knee and even elbow (that one was from playing Tennis though). And the things that have always helped me most were not ointments or painkillers. Braces were by far the most helpful thing during that time. You wear them when you need them and take them off when you don’t.
I have tried various differend kinds and brands of braces and i have wasted a lot, and i really mean a lot money on relatively cheap, but abolutely useless braces. No matter which body part was hurt, i always ended up with a Bauerfeind brace. They are of superb quality, have good design (nearly all of them are available in different colors and even different shapes) and are very durable and robust. You can even throw them into the washing washing machine, even though the packaging tells you not to (i am doing this for years now and it has neither loosened or shown any other signs of wear and tear).
Last but not least i want to add that they offer comfort that cannot be matched by any other manufacturer of braces. They might feel a little tight in the first place but after a few minutes of wearing them, and following your usual routine you will not even realize that they are on your knee, ankle, elbow, whatever.
Yes, Bauerfeind products have their price, but if you think about it, and consider the amount of joy that they can bring back to your favorite activities, they are really cheap, you might even call them a special offer.
I know that i might sound like Bauerfeind employee, but i just haven’t found a downside of those amazing products.

“Gosh, what am i going to wear tonight?!” You propably have heard this sentence quiet often or use to say it yourself. They say that fine feathers make fine birds, that clothes would make the man. Is this really true? And do we have to worry about what to wear more than what we do?

There is a novel on this topic from the swiss poet Gottfried Keller. In his Telling “Clothes make people” the tailor Strapinski is dressing well despite his poverty. He arrives in a foreign city and is regarded to be a polish count by his appearance. Once out of shyness, he has failed to explain the confusion and tried to flee. But as a young lady, daughter of a prominent citizen is introduced. The two fall in love, which makes Strapinski continue to play the role of a count that has been forced upon him. A despised rival ensures that the supposed imposter is exposed. The engagement party ends in an inescapable desaster for Strapinski, who got unmasked not to be what he pretended to. He flees, but his bride finds him, saves him from freezing to death and takes him to task. When she had convinced herself that his love is genuine, she confesses to him and enforces the marriage. The tailor founded a studio with her property and brings it to prosperity and prestige, thus the saying “Clothes make the man” proved its worth?

Now what is it, that is so pleasing about him?

The story implicates that everybody is the same, but it’s fortune that seperates people. In the end it was Strapinskis naked love that has appealed to her and his clothing just got her in the situation to fall for him.

In the novel we’ve talked about a character said: “I’m not exactly the man i seem to be“. and i’m worried.. why? Mark Twain knows the answer when he says: “Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.“.

Where does the bad smack comes from?

Clothes, as the visual indicator of wealth, mock peoples equality. Everybody is worth the same, but not everybody is worth the same amount of fortune? That doesn’t sound right, but fortune is not equally shared. I’m going to skip this topic.

So, “Gosh, what am i going to wear tonight?!”.

One thing we haven’t talked about yet is, Strapinski was a tailor. You can say that he was able to wear his abilities. Even though he was poor, his tailoring skills made him look like “one of them”. One of those whos abilities already made them become wealthy. You know what had happend in the end.
Tell me which ability is valued most in today’s society. Let me give you a hint: Regression is not godgiven.

The discussion about, let’s say it, feeding children with drugs has cooled down in the public. I wonder why? Still millions of children are fed with Ritalin.

Do you know somebody that has a prescription for Ritalin? I bet you do.

Wikipedia says that “ADHD(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is the most commonly studied and diagnosed psychiatric disorder in children, affecting about 3 to 5% of children globally with symptoms starting before seven years of age.”
It is well studied. That is why they feed children with drugs. I guess it is common sense, that drugs are necessary when you’re not as they wish. It’s sad. I am not aiming at telling you to leave these kids alone! What we want to talk about is where does ADHD come from? It’s not a retardation. We want to talk about that, because the mentality around the globe is alarming.
We want to keep living as we used to and if our body or mind fails to adjust to that, we use drugs? sounds great! not really.

So let’s hear what others say, that are not opening their medicine cabinet too fast. I’ve found Professor J. Egger, pediatric neurologist, that tells you to give your children “foods that are rich in omega 3 fatty acids and high-quality protein and fat-soluble vitamins and trace elements.”
He recommends a different diet and he continues “The important thing here is the inclusion in natural form.”

N..atural form? Let’s see what that means, i dont know..

Oxford English Dictionary: “food that needs little or no processing; (in later use also) a food which contains no additives, a health food.”
Merriam Webster: “food that has undergone minimal processing and contains no preservatives or artificial additives.”
Encarta: “unprocessed food: food that has undergone no or minimal processing and contains no additives such as preservatives or artificial coloring.”
Answers.com: “A term widely used but with little meaning and sometimes misleading since all foods come from natural sources. No legal definition seems possible but guidelines suggest the term should be applied only to single foods that have been subjected only to mild processing, i.e. largely by physical methods such as heating, concentrating, freezing, etc., but not chemically or ‘severely’ processed.”

I believe, if you found this article, you already have read about what is supposed to be healthy nutrition these days, and if not, do it now. it is a complex topic in the beginning, but once you get used to the structures, you will be able to adjust quickly to the new information we gain every day.

Do you know natural bread or pasta?

You won’t hurt your child, if you’d just give healthy nutrition a try.

GOD SPOKE TO ME TODAY

GOD SPOKE TO ME
God spoke to me today little about the raw material of the miracle faith is the condition to be receiving the miracle. Raw material miracle it is when we find ourselves in the situation that we can go neither forward nor backward, it is like in sand trap to be still to be sinking if we try to move we sink even faster, so what to do ? I say to all you have to have faith, put into practice the faith and receive the miracle. When we put our faith into action, it is when we need a miracle, faith in Jesus is faith of the impossible, it is when is no more hope in the visible, when our body our flesh arrives at the edge of reality, something different happens within the believer the one serving God with the truth, a seed of greatness, was emptied of its glory and became man like me and the creator became a creature, creature became sovereign, God now as a man, He did great deed the deaf hear, the blind see, the dumb to speak and even raised the dead from the grave, this man lived here, sinless and won so I could be like him. The man who made this tremendous work and wonderful humbled himself even more, not with glory shining, now he humiliated, becoming a slave and washed the feet of those who walked with him and being a slave he humbled himself up to the death on the cross.
This Jesus whom we have received, he died on the cross. But the Bible says that the bonds of death could not conquer it and the third day He was resurrected from the dead, known that, Jesus lives in us and who changes everything and when we are staked in a sand trap, what we do, look up for Jesus who won and now lives in us so that we might have life, look at the price He pay so we can live a life of victory and miracle, yes God did speak to me today, HE TOLD ME MIRACLES DO HAPPENS.

Vincent van Gogh – Biography

“Vincent van Gogh was born near Brabant, the son of a minister. In 1869, he got a position at the art dealers, Goupil and Co. in The Hague, through his uncle, and worked with them until he was dismissed from de London office in 1873. He worked as a schoolmaster in England (1876), before training for the ministry at Amsterdam University (1877). After he failed to get a post in the church, he went to live as an independent missionary among the Borinage miners.

He was largely self-taught as an artist, although he received help from his cousin, Mauve. His first work were heavily painted, mud colored and clumsy attempts to represent the life of the poor(e.g., Potato-Eaters, 1885 Amsterdam), influenced by one of his artistic heroes, Millet. He moved to Paris in 1886, living with his devoted brother, Theo, who as a dealer introduced him to artists like Gauguin, Pissarro, Seurat and Toulouse-Lautrec. In Paris, he discovered color as well as the divisionist ideas which helped to create the distinctive dashed brushstroke of his late work (e.g., Pere Tanguy, 1887, Paris). He moved to Arles, in the south os France, in 1888, hoping to establish an artists’ colony there, and was immediately struck by the hot reds and yellows of the Mediterranean, which he increasingly used symbolically to represent his own moods (e.g., Sunflowers, 1888, London, National Gallery). He was joined briefly by Gauguin in October 1888, and managed is some works to combine his own ideas with the latter’s Synthetism (e.g., The Sower, 1888, Amsterdam), but the visit was not a success. A final argument led to the infamous episode in which Van Gogh mutilated his ear.

In 1889, he became a voluntary patient at the St. Remy asylum, where he continued to paint, often making copies of artists he admired. His palette softened to mauves and pinks, but his brushwork was increasingly agitated, the dashes constructed into swirling, twister shapes, often seen as symbolic of his mental state ( e.g., Ravine, 1889, Otterlo). He moved to Auvers, to be closer to Theo in 1890 – his last 70 days spent in a hectic program of painting. His died, having sold only one work, following a botched suicide attempt. His life is detailed in a series of letters to his brother (published 1959)”.
